Warrenty Duration

The longest your warranty can be is 3 years. After 3 years, no further warranty will be sold to you by dell.

This means that April 2010 is the LAST month that the final batch of x51's sold, before it was removed form the site, will be warrantied. After that, any problems with your axims are YOUR problems.

Your complete care warranty covers everything your units and your batteries. If your batteries are damaged, you can replace them. If your AC adatper breaks, or the tip is damaged, you can replace it. if you cradle gets set on fire for the firecracker you tied to your cat's tail, you can replace it. If your stylus bends while picking your ear, you can replace it. Such is the beauty if complete care.

Once your warranty is up, you can listen to them laugh at you. A one year extension is $110. A two year is either $150 or $199, i cant remember right now.

Do yourself a favor. Buy it. Then go buck wild with your axim for the rest of us who no longer have a warranty. You can only purchase it up to 1 week AFTER the warranty has expired.

My axim x51v is being funky. It loses charge intermittantly within a couple hours. It also tends to have a glitchy screen once in a while. How would I demonstrate this to dell to have it corrected? I'm not sure these can be demonstrated over the phone. Has anyone experienced this type issue and how did you get it resolved?

You just tell Dell what the problems are; the rep will ask questions & should honor your warranty if still active.
