You can't import directly to your pocket pc. You'd need to import the data into Outlook and then sync the data to your Pocket PC.

Actually Julie, that's not quite true.
WM6 will allow you to import directly.
When you set up a hotmail account on a WM6 device it will ask if you want to add your contacts, click Yes and away you go.

But Nagty1 doesn't say what device or operating system they are using, so it's not really possible to answer the question fully.

Then, go with my reply. There is no way for you to directly import contacts into the contacts application on the pocket pc. You'll need to get the contacts into Outlook and then sync them over.

Actually there is a runaround if you really don't want to import them or cannot do it at the moment. Just export them to excel from outlook, and you can just quickly open the contacts and be able to view them. Before you copy to axim you can remove empty columns for easy viewing.
