Hi, I have a significant number of contacts stored in my AXIM X51V and don't want to accidently loose them, I am a relative novice and would like to know how to print out a hard copy of the contacts. Your help would certainly be appreciated.

If you have installed printing software to the device, you might be able to print your contacts out one at a time. This could be very time consuming.

A better way to manage the data on your pocket pc is to NOT rely on it as your primary data repository. At the very least, you should backup your pocket pc regularly (and there are quite a few third party backup applications you could choose to do this, if there is no backup software already installed on the device), but you really should consider syncing your data to Outlook on your computer. Then your data will be on your computer and you can view it, print it, etc. from the computer.

I have my AX sync'd with my PC at home as well as at work. I don't use Outlook for my home email, but its nice to know that I have all my contacts stored there.

ActiveSync does this for you.

Then, if you ever hard reset (which can and has happened accidentally) or if your battery runs completely out and you lose your contacts, you can easily restore them from your PC.
