battery status

does anyone know how to have the battery status show without having to go into the settings?

or.... anyone know of a good app that shows the battery status on the today screen?

In the windows folder is there a file called Switcher?

There are tons of them,
My favorite is ICBar, its actually an app switcher
but can also display bat and mem status on
the task bar ..you can get it in the DL section..
also be sure to check out www.freewareppc.com
for today screen plug ins and such..

nope. i previously had ppc 2002 and i had an option to have it there or not. could the fact that my new X3i is 2003 make the difference or is it something specific to Dell?

found it. friend showed me where to look on the switcher bar when it is loaded. thanks for the help.
