You need to purchase the upgrade disk from Dell, and then install it.

2003

Ok, 1st problem is waiting for dell to ship the update.

But are most of the bugs fixed? I have not heard too many complaints, so is it safe to go for it?

My recent upgrade to WM 2003 went off without a hitch, and the performance since the upgrade is very good. (Ignoring the problems with ActiveSync, which of course have nothing to do with WM 2003 and everything to do with horrible software ....) Backup your data, of course, but I'd say go ahead.

There is actually a newer version of active sync. The version that u guys are using is probably 3.7. The newest version is 3.7.1. You cancheck which version you have by opening active sync and then click help and about. I've had problems with syncing before but since ive downloaded and installed this, I've had no problems whatsoever. Also, I've had it for about 3 weeks, so that's pretty impressive that I've had no problems in 3 weeks. The link to dl it is:

The only problems I have had are with Sprite softwares Pocket Backup Plus and they are working on a fix now and OmegaOnes Journal Bar is a little buggy. The performance hike is great but, so is the toll on the batteries when using full backlight, WIFI Internet surfing, & a double pumped 400mgz processor.
