ActiveSync & MS Firewall Client

Get this.
When I was trying to run ActiveSync over my WiFi card connection it kept failing. I was reinstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. ActiveSync complainted about the Connection Service and "rapi.dll" did not like me at all. Then the program would crash. Now, I know that a Firewall would cause certain problems so it hit me. What if the application I use for bypassing the Firewall in college was the culprit. Even though I was at home and no where near a net/web connection at the time I found that I had forgot to Disable the Microsoft Firewall Client. It seems that even the application, without a Firewall enable prevents ActiveSync from functioning. Lousy on me! Well, it's all fixed now. So if you happen to have Firewall Client installed, disable it and try again.

Just my 2 cent......cent being the correct plural of the Euro coin.
