Make your d-pad a joystick!
Just take a rubber stopper or what they call "bump-on" rubber peices they use for framing, i wish i could bring up a link but i cant find it on the internet, i have a few pics :) .
The D-pad isnt a very good joystick, but to be honest its easier to work with since i dont have to press my finger all the way down below the actual opening.
Unfortunatly I cant get a picture where it shows how tall the bump on rubber peice is ;) , but it does stick up at just about a quarter of an inch.
