How do I force X3i to associate with my WAP only ?

Just figured how to get my Axim x3i to use my WAP. Since yesterday I was just "war-couching" (new term... eh ? I am a genious :p ) neighbors' WAPs, and there are like 5 available at any given time.

But, because I have my own WAP, I want to use my own... fair enough I think !

Now, the question is - how do I force my X3i to be honest and loyal to only my WAP, because right now, it keeps hopping from one to another ?

I believe that if you go to "Start"->"Settings", the "Connections" page, and click on "Wireless Ethernet", you can turn off the option "automatically connect to non-preferred networks", tap and hold on your neighbor's APs and select "Delete" to delete them, and you should connect only to your own.

Thanks dude...

I had an option of specifying by writing the SSID name on my Netgear CF WiFi card. Was wondering if there is anything like that on Axim's inbuilt interface...

I would still want to see the neighbor's WAPs in the list, just not connect.

Maybe turning off that option of 'non-preffered...' will work.

I am surprised none else has faced it before me... ?
