As a developer, I am prone to destroying poor little systems.

So, in the two weeks of having an Axim and toying around with it, I seem to have brought Activesync to its knees.

(Ninja-power :hide: )

Well, make that the "software" part of Activesync.
It will not install any software (I have to install manually).
Even the "Extras-->Software" Menu doesn't work any more. More to the point: I see the window flash on the screen and disappear.

Now, can I safely un- and re-install the Software and Sync it again with my handheld?

I've had to un and reinstall it a few times never any problems, occasionally it duplicates an item but rarely and I just resolve the conflict

Did you try soft resetting your Axim before doing the dreaded reinstall? Sometimes this will help conflicts within activesync and the Axim.

Yepp... I soft-reset this Machine a lot of times.

Nope... Didn't work. The problem has been persistent for about a week now.
