Shortcut creation
I had some troubles with some applications I installed, that did not create shortcuts. We're all lazy, and don't like to run File Explorer to find the application(s) - at least I am... So here's the fix:
Load up File Explorer, and locate the application ( /My Device/Program Files/WhateverYourProgramIs ) - Locate the actual Application file (sometimes is an Icon on the left side) hold your pointer on the file for a few secs, till the menu comes up, and select (Copy). Now up where you change directories click the drop down and change to the directory /My Device then /Windows then /Start Menu and finally /Programs - These are your Program shortcuts that come up when you use your Start button. You can Create Folders in here too (Internet,Media,Reference,Utils) whatever your tasts, and move things around..) - anyway back on the subject.. To place that shortcut in /My Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/ just get inside that folder, and then select the "Edit" button at the bottom of screen, this is sorta like a menu item in Windows9x.. Then select Paste Shortcut. At that point you should have the shortcut in your Start menu. If you want to move it, select file, holding down stylus a few secs, and on the popup menu select Cut, then change to the folder you wish to move it to, hold down stylus somewhere in that folder location bringing up popup menu, select Paste. This should move the shortcut for you. This is also a good way to move files around..
