I take my SD card right out of my digital camera (kodak dx 3700) and view the pictures on my axim with no problems at all, so it should work for you. I do it all the time and haven't had any problems doing so. They look much better on the axim than my 1" screen on the kodak.
I'm in the pre-shipping status, so I don't even have my Axim yet and still I am getting more and more excited as I read things such as this...I will be very excited to bt able to take photos of my La Petite Prince around on my CF II card from my dig camera and slap them in for a quick slide show when innocent parties show the slightest interest! :)

I typicall take my flash card out of my nikon coolpix and plug it directly into the axim. I can view the pictures directly and transfer them into memory or delete them etc. No problems so far other than they a sometimes a bit slow in coming up.
Ahh. It probably takes so long because of the resolution of your camera settings. the higher it is, of course, the better the pic, but for the Axim, it's slower to read the pic info.

This all works well with the Fuji s602 too ( remember not to have it set to 6 million pixels!!) EXCEPT that it is such a problem pulling the microdrive out of the axim.
How do you lot manage - short of levering the little sucker out with the handy boweyknife!!! Ain't going to do the microdrives lifespan a lot of good.
