Button Function assignment w/ Win
Can I set the jog dial on the side of my Axim x3 to operate as a volume when the Windows Media Player is operating?

Yes you can. Open WMP, then go to Tools -->Settings ---> Buttons. Use the drop down menu (Select Function ) to find volume up/down. Move the jog dial for each function (e.g. for up, move dial up). That's it.
