It looks like the Brando or Boxwave from the early results of the poll.

Any of you Brando users: did people buy from their website? It looks a little "questionable." Any problems? (Ive checked the executivepda site (a US reselller, I think), but have had trouble logging on to their site.

Thanks for the input.

I bought my Brandos straight from the Hong Kong website. Quick service, although they took a while to get here. I think Brando Workshops is a reputable place from which to purchase.

i have a brando currently, and its very good, but I miss my old cleartouch sometimes. The brando dims the screen more and might allow slightly more glare than the cleartouch. IMO cleartouch's are the best, but unless you have a coupon they can be quite pricey. brandos may be the best value. i read a review that said that they are nearly impossible to scratch, and so far that is holding up, though mine is only one month old.

I ordered from Dell shortly after ordering my X5 and received Belkin protectors. This was 6/03. I'm still on the first one. No bubbles, works great.

I use the template provided in another thread & make my own. It's cheap, relatively easy & works quite well.

Brando from executive PDA

I ordered my first and only screen protector, the Brando, from executivepda.com. The postal service bent the protector during shipping. I called executivepda and they had me send it back and they replaced it at no charge. Seems like a good operation. I would buy from them again.

The Brando is a tight fit and takes some effort to get it right. But after its on you may never have to remove it again. I may not be impossible to scratch but its probably impossible to scratch using your stylus.

I am researching the same thing, and found another screen protector review that you folks might find of interest: http://www.brighthand.com/article/Protect_Your_Screen - It seems to echo many of the sentiments above -- liking Boxwave, and WriteSHIELD the best. Based on this article, and the Aximsite comments above, I think I'm going to go wtih the Boxwave myself. Don't feel like waiting for the Brando to get here from HK.

I'm not trying to change your mind but if you want the Brando you can get it from executivepda.com who is located in the US. They are also a little cheaper than buying direct from Brando. I think mine was $10.95 including shipping to Tennessee. They are located in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Like I said in my other post I think they went out of their way to help me after the postal service damaged my first one.

i like my boxwave cleartouch...it doesnt have the fitment problem that was stated on this site's review...they must have fixed it, and according to the review on this site, if i remember correctly, that was the only flaw it seemed to have, so otherwise i think its perfect...but i also havent used any other protectors before...anyways im still very happy with this one :)

Group,

The fitment problem was fixed sometime ago though it was never re-updated in the review.

Here is another recent, larger, third party review for your consideration.

7 top screen protectors, BoxWave comes out ahead of the competition.

I tried the ones Dell sells and the Fellowes ones, after getting Boxwaves I will never switch. I showed some friends and they too were amazed and are getting them. The price is justified by how long they last.

No fingerprints when I use my MAME on screen controller is probably the best high point of boxwaves.

I started with the Dell for my X5 - big piece of garbage IMO Move all over the place and can't get rid of all the airbubbles. So I switched to the Writeshields - bought 3 so I could put one on my husband's X5 and have a spare. They were a little fiddly to put on initially, but it was worth the effort to get the positioning right as they have both performed extreamly well with no signs of wear even after 6 months :D
