I was wondering if anybody knows a trick to alter the keyboard driver, to allow in example norwegian special characters. Any ideas?

ePocet Solutions have a scandinavian keyboard driver that would fix your problem.

Just remember to do a soft reset after the installation.

I Have now found an application which supports many various language inputs, even with the dell foldable keyboard. It can be found here. (This is only a trial-version)
