Text Message with IR - PPC to Cell Phone?

Hello'ello,

I was just wondering if there is a way to type-up a text message with my Axim THEN send it via my cell phone using IR.

My hardware:
Sony Ericcson T306 - Has IR port
Dell Axim x5

If there is no (free) way of doing it, aside from the regular text msg cost, that's okay. Typing notes with the cell phone doesn't kill me :)

A silly use for my Axim: I have a camera for my cell phone (it's modular) but I didn't buy the data cable to send data to my computer. I send the pictures via IR to my Axim then grab the pictures off of there with ActiveSync (Explore Mode).

hehe, that's what got me thinking about it :)

It only says GSM and Bluetooth on their website, but I'll give it a run just to make sure. Thanks ^_^

There are a couple there if you go to categories, communication and then filter for 'phone.

Well, I did a manual install in the morning and tried EasySMS in telecommunications class today. And, it works like a charm! Now I just have to get my hands on another 2 months of free promotional text messaging and I'm all set again.

Enclosed is a picture of them talking. Aww, it's actually kinda' cute.
