Uninstalling Real Player

When I uninstall Real Player using active sync, real player icon still sits in the program folder, and naturally won't work. i've treid to search the pda's folders for any stray real player files, but no joy.

if i reinstall real player, after installation, real player is then in the program screen twice and both will work...getting a bit annoyed as one real player icon refuses to go away.

I've tried a soft and hard reset (after backing up the essential files) but still no joy...ideas from anyone?

happy easter btw...!

Never used Realplayer, but the icon should be in the Windows, Start Menu folder.

Using AS: click Explore double click My Pocket PC, Windows, Start Menu, Programs

Shortcuts have the arrow brhs of the icon and it should be safe to delete the Realplayer icon.

Big Smile Cheers sir!

Many thanks!

Will know where to look if this happens again, and will also remember to use AS to uninstall!

realplayer mobile is a huge letdown, the video doesn't stream as well as win. media 9 and there is no support for all the hundreds of songs I have encoded in the media 9 format---also no graphic equalizer or music visualizer, whats the frickin' point. To sum it up real player is a big letdown. no wonder the only thread metioning it does so in relation to a problem uninstalling it.
