Ok - I did a search but didn't find exactly what I needed. I have set up a whole lot of categories in my Outlook contacts and calendars, but none of the categories are showing up in Outlook. How do I get Outlook 2002 to use the categories I'm using on my Ax? I'm also using the latest version of Pocket Informant if that's any help.

So if you open a contact in your desktop Outlook and go to the catergories in the bottom right the catergories are not listed?

If you are not seeing the categories in you pc Outlook: switch to the Contacts view, click view, Current view & By categories

If you want to filter in ppc use the filter option (just below the Start icon.

Categories don't show in the list view on your ppc, you'll need to open a contact to view the category details or filter as above.

Thanks for your replies. Both were helpful in figuring out what happened. I can now correct it - basically what happened is that when I upgraded to 2003 all my categories were lost, and only the entries I made since then had them entered. I changed the view and found that there were a few that were categorized, and I realized that they were the ones that I'd entered since I upgraded. Now I can go back through and recategorize the others. Thanks for your help!
