To expand on the csv file suggestion, I exported to a .csv file from the palm, then did the same thing from Outlook\contacts (If you have a lot of contacts, I would create a sub folder and set up one contact for the initial export). This allows you to copy and paste the data from the columns in the palm csv into the correct contacts csv file, so that when you re-import the file to outlook\contacts, it reads properly. To make sure I didn't screw up a good contacts folder, I made a sub-folder under contacts to import to and then moved this folder to the main contacts folder after any minor revisions were made. :)
