Need reg hack!

Somebody once wrote about a reg hack which made it possible to choose the dir\sub dir when installing on your Axim. So you had the possibility to install in i.e. CF Card \Program Files\whatever app\app

I can't remember the title of the tread, nor the writer and I didn't find it using the search option..

Who helps me out?:)

Peace,
Henk.

It's not a hack, but an application

Nope, but I already found it back after a heaving search here

The message of "Place GUID Here"

Peace,
Henk.

Just so every one has it on the page insted of following the linkhere is the important part of how to install programs to your storage card in sub folders.

install a registry editor for your ppc if you don't already have one, then browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apps\Microsoft Application Installer

and change the value of fAskDest from 0 to 1.

what this does is force the axim to ask you where you want to install applications when they're being installed - you can choose not just SD card but which folder on the SD card to install under. that's how I've been doing it (I install just about everything under a Program Files folder I made on the SD card).

Why do you install all your programs on an SD card? I'm getting a new X30 med, but don't have a SD card coming with it.
