You have to realize Voice Command only
requires recognition of a few words, 30 or 40 at
most.

Same with PDA Win, has voice recognition, but
it only has to recognize a few words...

Dictation software would have to be able to
recognize an entire dictionary and then some...

Its not just about the storage, but about
the speed at which it has to compare
spoken words to the data

You might contact Scansoft directly via Tech Support and ask them some development related questions. For instance a 'geek' level voice recognition dictionary would not need medical terms, etc.

Been there. Nothing out yet.

BUT! I did submit it as a recomendation.
And if enough pep's ask . . . maybe they'll knock some basic stuff out.

** the processor speed is enough, the storage can be increased . . . I remember running Dragon on a 486DX2.
It's gotta be in the MS requirements controlling what a PPC can do and how it can look.
