Ouch. Some Axims reign supreme over others.

Mine dropped off an 8ft or so drop (off my bunked bed in the dorms in college) and it miraculously survived.

I dropped my Clie T615C multiple times and eventually jarred the cable that connects the buttons to the motherboard a bit loose. I opened it up and fixed that easily enough though.

My Axims I've dropped multiple times but the last time it either dropped a couple inches onto wood or a couple feet onto carpet (or maybe the plastic leg of my desk chair) without a case and broke the screen. And this was a replacement for an Axim that I think I accidentally sat/knelt on while it was in the original Dell case and inside a coat pocket. (Which also resulted in a broken screen.) Wish there was a hard shell case for the Axim that can handle the extended battery.

I dropped my Dell Axim x51v last night. It slipped out of my hand onto our wood floor and flipped over a couple of times. Fortunately, it was in its aluminum case, no damage at all.

I dropped my Axim x51v on the floor and it just flew all over. It literally went from one side of the room where my computer was to the other side. When I did manage to find it, the battery cover had come loose and unfortunately it wasn't in it's aluminum case. Now, everytime I move the battery cover jst a tad, it will go into sleep mode and I have to keep turning it back on. In it's aluminum case though, It doesn't do that.

I dropped my Axim x51v and it flew from one end of the room all the way to the other. The only thing that happened to it was that the battery cover came off and now when i tap it jst a bit, it goes into sleep mode so i have to keep turning it back on. With the aluminum case though, it works just fine
