I'm trying to get my Palm data into my new Axim. Someone suggested syncing the Palm first to Yahoo, then syncing Yahoo to Outlook on my desktop.

The first part works. Yahoo sees all the data that Palm had. But when I try to sync Yahoo with Outlook, I get some, but not all of the data. Specifically, I'm missing phone numbers. Also, when I sync, Intellisync seems to be working properly, but then it gives me an error message at the end: "Unable to write oru pdate application data."

Any ideas about how to get all my info out of Palm and into my Axim?

why not set your palm to sync with outlook instead of palm desktop. Then set your axim to sync with outlook. They should share info nicely.

you will need to sync with palm desktop, then throw in your palm cd, it should have something called chapura pocket mirror, that will convert palm desktop to outlook format, then sync your axim with outlook, thats what i did when i had my tungsten and i got my ipaq 2210

I have an old Palm IIIx. Chapura is not included, so I can't sync my Palm with Outlook directly. I'd rather not purchase software just for one use.

Any suggestions for things I can do without purchasing new software?

It's strange that I can see all the data that was in my Palm now in Yahoo, but it won't all move over to Outlook, though some of it will.
