I've been suffering from the very low volume of the X30 speaker. It was poor and I often miss alarms and it makes Microsoft Voice Command useless. I've read a few posts about this and was actually going to return the X30 to Dell...Then I installed Pocket Plus...

I turned on the Advanced tools/repeating alarms option and all of a sudden my alarms start quiet and increment in volume and are loud enough to hear and MS Voice Command and TomTom Navigator sounds are just as loud as on my X5, if not louder.

What a great product PocketPlus is, and why would this fix the volume when WM2k3 SE/Dell can't?

Which Pocket Plus did you install? SPB Pocket Plus 2.1, Pocket Plus for Pocket PC 2002 1.0, or Pocket plus 1.0.
These are the only Pocket Plus programs on pocketgear.com
