This may seem pretty basic, but what the hey, I just bought my Axim. I have two questions. #1) Is there a way to display tasks on the today screen (so I can just look at the screen and see the reminder of what I have to do) and #2) Is there an alarm clock function in the basic software or do I have to buy an application? Thanks for your help

Not sure as far as getting tasks on the Today screen, but yes there is a built in alarm clock. If you just single-click anywhere on the Date at the top of the Today screen, it will pull up the time/date settings.....if you look at the bottom of this, there is a tab for alarms. You have 4 alarms you can have set for different times.

start -> settings -> today -> items ->

Check Tasks.

Then they will display on your Today Screen.

Look for a free program called Calendar+. It allows you to display calendar events and task on the Today screen. I love it, and you can't beat the price
