So I have an x50v and would like to be able to sync it over the 'net and be able to access my computers through a VPN. I have a (nearly) static IP address and I have a router that will pass VPN and everything. I should be all set. I want to use IPSec, FWIW.

So I set it up in Windows XP Pro on my computer (created an incomming connection for VPN). But every time I open it the VPN checkbox is empty. I can check it and choose OK, but when I open it again, it's empty again! It won't hold the setting.

Also, does it just accept connections that are both PPTP and IPSec (ie this is set by the client), or is it set on the server somewhere?

Thanks for your help guys. I intend to test this tomarrow when I get a chance, but I KNOW I need that setting checked.
