ActiveSync Cannot Copy Files Larger than 16 MB

i just transferred a 32mb video clip to my axim without a hitch!

or maybe i'm just lucky =p

Never had any problems either, just transfered a 120 MB movie to my SD card, no problems at all

That makes a bunch of us here.

I was trying to find more ways for people who couldn't find out how to transfer HUGE files since those people are having problems. For example, people who have the Dimension 8100, some people suggest using a hub of some sort to solve the trasferring problem. Others suggested using a card reading. I was leaning toward for people who don't want to shell out money for a hub or a card reader.

For those of us who have no problems with transferring large files, I wouldn't say that we were lucky, but I would say that we did and have everything in working order in our systems.
But for those who are having trouble, we'll try to think of every possible solution to help you.:D

i had problems copying to my main memory since i don't have my cf yet. Trying to copy over a 24 mb fiile, and i had enough space, but it said out of memory. Really weird. hopefully i can get it to work with cf

I don't think you will have a problem. Just make sure your CF card is inserted all the way in. ;)

I never had a problem transferring files bigger than 16 MB through active sync except for the speed. Now I use a USB 2.0 multiple card reader/writer and I much prefer USB 2.0 to the Axim's serial connection.
