I read every post on it, but Gmail still doesn't work

Ok,

I followed the setup rules and still nothing.

email address: xxxxx@gmail.com

my name : blah blah blah
username: xxxxxx@gmail.com
pasword: *********

Account type: POP#
Name: Gmail

imcoming mail: pop.gmail.com
outgoing mail: smtp.gmail.com

check on require SSL and outgoing mail requires authentication



that's it right? I have POP3 enabled on gmail and i turned it off and on again.

Did you try putting the port numbers after the incoming & outgoing mail servers?

i thought that wasn't necessary?

would it be: pop.gmail.com:995 or whatever it is?

I also read that its not necessary. I have the port numbers, & GMail works fine in Pocket outlook. And yes, it would be :port#

my gmail works using outlook on my x30 but every morning i have to login on gmail and turn pop3 off then on again so i can read my email:(

Anyone get gmail through javascript? I have been using netfront and it can use an external javascript plugin. Is there anymore available?

gmail is googles new email service with 1 gigabyte of space per account. it is currently in beta so you can only get gmail by invite. for more info go to gmail.com

you can try using the www.mail2web.com service, to access your mail ?
