Installed software listing?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to export a listing of all software installed to your Axim?

Yes, I know you can just go to the Remove Programs option on the device, but what I'd like to do is perhaps export it to a text document.

This way I could print it out and have it handy when I have to reinstall all my apps after applying the new ROM update :)

Thanks!

Not that I know of. I normally take screen shots and upload them or just write it out by hand.

I don't know how to export this but I set up a file in Excel a couple of months ago which has helped endure the Rom updates and hard re-sets I've had to do. I have a column with the program name, then a column with location of where I installed it, and another column with the registration number, if any. I have this file stored in my PC and on the storage card in my Axim. I add to it whenever I install a new program.

Great idea, MaryB!

I'm going to do that this time around.

This question is one I've been thinking about for a couple of years. I remember a freeware app for my old Visor/Palms (maybe even made by Palmgear.com?) which listed all installed apps and their version date/number.) It was so handy, and I've never found one for my PPC.

I'd love to find one, and one that showed where apps were installed, which would really help with reinstalling after a hrard reset/ROM upgrade.
