I tried to install ppod and it wouldn't work so I uninstalled the program & reinstalled several times, it still didn't work. Until I get ppod people to help I am having trouble deleting the icons from the programs folder. What do I do to remove uninstalled program icons from the programs folder?

open up file explorer.
Navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Delete the shortcut in that folder.

Hi I tried to delete the icon for PPOD using your suggestion but when I went into File explorer I didn't find the icon in the shortcut folder or the programs folder or in any folder at all. As a matter of fact there wasn't anything in the program folder under My Device> Windows> Programs, is there something I need to do to show those? Any other suggestions? Do you know of any good books or web sites for learning how to use the operating system better?

You need to go to Windows\Start Menu\Programs. The shortcut file will be a *.lnk file, probably PPOD.lnk. It will have the same icon as the one you are trying to delete.
