I changed the channel and turned up the volume on info TVs around campus. Since the control panels are disabled, nobody could turn down the volume! People were forced to unplug them.

ok so we were sulpose to be studying for a test and then... i turn the tv on but i push mute so the volumes not on. then we watch Mtv for like 5 mins and our teacher doesnt even notice. so i get my friend to call the class using his cell phone and when our treacher mrs. cheng walks up to the phone( which is right next to the tv) BAM I TURN THE TV ON FULL VOLUME AND SHE SPAZZES OUT IT WAS GREAT!!!

omg i turned the tv off and on the whole class iy was great. our teacher even started to velieve us when we said it was a ghost!

Dude that is so awesome! ROTFL. I tried to do that on some of the TVs in my class, but they were not connected to cable, so there was no input. The teacher didn't seem to notice that the TV was going on and off. I was afraid that he might be suspicious that someone had a universal remote.

Lol, nice.

DrNick, thats hilarious. I should try that some time. Your teacher not noticing is the best part.

Instead of geocaching I tried something earlier in the school year called freshmen-caching
using a GPS we would mark where each freshmen could be located for a future catch and release program, just incase we added a little sharpie mark on their legs, blue for guys and green for girls. Using school spirit I managed to maintain a freshmen population throughout the beginning of the school year....then I got a girlfriend!

hmm.. these are the 3 most unusual things i have done:

1.when my dad got bit by a spider, he had to go to the hospital 55 MILES AWAY 4 TIMES A WEEK. they have tvs in the lobby, but its always set to something stupid like "as the world turns" or "the peoples court". using noviiremote, i quickly fixed that.

2. One of my friends let me borrow his bike for a few laps around the court after wednesday night church. I conviently had a "speaker-pack" (hooks up just like regular headphones) & rode around with it a few times.

3. on a 12-hour trip to gatlinburg, we would ocassinally stop at a mcdonalds or such with wifi service, & our hotel had wifi too. For some unusual reason, the Hotel's wifi service stayed active on my axim in excess of 2000+ ft. (they must have had signal repeaters or something) so i downloaded a few songs off OCremix, got on myspace, emailed my friends & IMed a few others.
