Thanks.

I don't think you can directly. Just import it into Outlook and then sync.

Cool - that seems to have worked. I exported as .csv, and it imported into Otlook, then Active sync did the rest for me.
But now, all of my labels have been lost. How do I make folders with category names (friends, family, etc...) to simplify things?

Hopefully someone else can advise you on that. It's not something I've ever tried to do.

So do you mean to say that your address book is just one long list of names?
I have about 500 contacts in my address book, so that would be pretty disorganized. I'm sure there is a simple way to make a label for Friends, a label for Business, and etc....
Anybody have any info?

Categories work, folders do not. Just filter on the appropriate category.

Thanks.

Sorry, you have to assign the contact to a category on the Axim or in Outlook. Address Book doesn't support categories. To do it in Outlook just right click on the contact and select category. Then just assign the contact to a category. That's it. On the Axim, when you are looking for special groups, just use the drop down in the upper left that says "All Contacts" by default. Drop it down to the appropriate category you need.

Okay - sounds easy enough. But how can I create categories and assign to them on the Axim?
