I am not very diligent, but, I keep a folder on my PC (at home) with all my installed apps. I could install all of these if needed; like if I toasted my current Axim, and had to get a different one and the back up didn't work. Everything I use in an easy to find location. I even copy that to a new CD, occassionally.

Then, I intend to perform a backup on my PC using Active Sync; but I don't do that regularly enough.
And, I perform a full copy of the CF and SD cards onto my PC.
All of these get included in the periodic copy to the CD.

Well, I backed up to the sprite pc service (onto my desktop). Then I went to send it to myself in gmail. The size of the backup is 70mb w/my Illinois gps map. That's way too big for gmail, yahoo mail and comcast mail. Yahoo briefcase is only 30mb. I must find a solution.

Most of my apps are in BIS, so I back up main memory and BIS to SD card every Friday morning. I then copy it to a folder on my desktop and to a USB flash drive/thumb drive/dongle.

I'm also going to start uploading a copy to my web server. My host gives me 10 GB of bandwidth a day and 5 GB of storage space, so I highly doubt I'll have any capacity issues along those lines, which is more than can be said for Gmail, Comcast mail or Yahoo mail/briefcase.
