does anyone know of a program or method that will allow me to use my x50v as a handsfree car phone. I have a bluetooth mobile, but I want to be able to leave the phone in the glovebox and use the axim to make and receive calls...
Any help or tips would be appreciated.

you'd need a CF phone card to do the calling. Not sure where you'd get one either.

Your best bet is to get a good headset, preferrably bluetooth, for your BT phone.
