Okay, I decided to see what this X30 could do and decided to download a variety of programs last week... for example Pacman, Pocket Breeze trial version, magic button, a birthday plug in, a calendar plug in, Theme Setter.

Well about 2 days later I started noticing problems with the Start and Windows drop down menu. First it looked like a pink tiger print, with black spots. Then the items on the drop down menu (only the words, not the pictures) started to look like they were duplicating... as if I were seeing double or triple, and getting progressively worse.
Then today the "Today" screen dispeared with no getting it back.

I uninstalled the trial Pocket Breeze and Theme Setter and tried a soft reset today. The today screen is back, but now the drop down menu is completey black except for the colored icons. I can still select anything and it works fine.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how I can fix it?
I realize I can do a hard reset, but I would still like to reinstall all of the items except the Pocketbreeze... and I suspect something with one of these downloads started these problems.

Your best bet might be to uninstall the programs one by one and see if that fixes the problem.

If not then a hard reset might be the best way to clean it out.

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.
