Question Fancy Icons

Hi...

Whilst looking through the site I have noticed all the fancy (and useful) buttons displayed on your PDA's.........

Now this is probably a dumb newbie question but is there a way of putting them on the screen cos try as I might I can't seem to do it.

I am thinking predominently about icons such as battery life, screen rotation etc etc

Obviously its not like a desktop on a PC or is it???

If they are actually mini-programs any advice as to where to get them would be ace. TIA

There are programs that do it.

You can buy them at places like www.handango.com or www.pocketgear.com.

One for battery and shortcuts is Battery Pack Pro.

There are also some freeware ones at places like www.freewareppc.com.

ProgramLauncher is one and it is currently right there on the front page.

The only one I've found to be rock solid stable is Scott Seligman Launcher, I think it's freeware too.

SPB Pocket Plus is one of the best. I couldn't imagine my Axim without it.

My thoughts exactly. It changed my Axim experience from a hateful one to where I don't leave the house anywhere without my Axim now.
