backup programs

What do you all use as a backup program for scheduled backup? I know that there are standalone backup programs such as Sunny Backup Manager. Then, there are programs such as SkTools with a backup feature built-in. By the way, is SkTools'backup feature done from the PDA or from the PC?

What do you all use?

I use sprite on my x50v, it's excellent for backups, and scheduling backups. Not wm5 compatible yet, but apparently they are working on it.
This week I have been mostly listening to..... Short cummings audio

I just got Sprite Backup recently, too. It works great and you can schedule backups to occur automatically. I have a specific time every day when I am not using my X30, so I let the auto-backup run daily on a schedule. Sprite is extremely ituitive, easy to set up and seems to work like a champ.

Thanks. I checked out Sprite Backup. It's a pretty expensive program ($30) but seems to be well worth its cost.

I would also add that the Sprite support has been excellent since I have used it over the past 6 months or so.

Has anyone tried the BackupBuddy beta for Windows Mobile yet? I used BackupBuddy on the Palm and it was great.

Evening Andy.

Only three months, give or take with my "Bar Toy" (Axim X50),
works great.

Can you deciphter this screen shot. Seems as if I'm a dodo bird, storage memory
vs BIS, Total Main Mem vs Program Mem. What?
Screen shot is Space Detective from Sprite Backup.

I remain,

Confused

I didn't know they had for for WM. I also used it for Palm years ago and had no trouble with it. I have to say that I am satisfied with Sprite Backup so I guess it's a moot point.

I'm a beta tester for Backup Buddy and at this point it isn't a contender. I used BB on my Sony Clie and it was great but there are still a lot of issues with the PPC software. Here are the significant ones: 1. No option to pick what you backup. The program backs up your RAM, and any memory cards.
2. No option to pick where the backup is created. It gets created wherever you install the software.
3. Extremely slow. Backing up my x50v takes over 1 hr 40 minutes and that's with me cancelling the backup midway thru the SD card but before getting to the CF card. In comparison, Sprite does a complete backup of my x50v (no memory cards) in just over 4 minutes.
4. It looks like it doesn't stop all running processes so it probably isn't doing a complete backup like Sprite.
Nothing is never "no problem".

Sprite has saved my bacon (and my data)on a few instances. Quick on back ups and restoring data.
