Question What's the best software utility that actually keeps tabs on progs?

Currently Im using Dell's built-in task-switcher, but it sucks big time. I have several processes running and it can't even detect it, much less close it... I was thinking of going with Battery Pack Pro 2.1 because it has the ability to actually close programs when you want to, but I heard some people having problems with it in WM5, so I want to know what's the best task-manager/launcher utility thats available for the Axim X51v? Thanks...

Yes, there is. But I've noticed an issue with the "Programs" task not fully closing when clicking on the X (the X will disappear, but the task will still be active, my device can only recover from this by a soft reset). This may not be directly related to MB, it could just be one of WM5's many issues.

Spb Pocket Plus

Although using WM 2003SE, Spb says, "WM 5 compatible."

If Pocket Plus is indeed working as well with WM 5 as it does
with WM 2003SE, great program. When you close a program, it
is closed! Period!

As with most programs, a little learning curve but, in one afternoon,
during NFL action, was able to create a nice menu, move some
"stuff" around, and while at it, downloaded MS Theme Generator (a freebie
from MS), and made a simple, plain lookin' X50v, look
very nice! Can fool everyone except perhaps the
Ax membership!

Handy Launcher if you just want to close programmes down, if you want to close individual processes MemMaid is very good, from Dinarsoft, check their support forum for the latest versions and information.

WisBar Advance 2 @ lakeridgesoftware.com - same functions as MagicButton and lots more. It is better but not free. $10, I think.

Magic button only! you might not need all the other functions WA2 or others are offering, start with simple and FREE app. Stay away from Battery Pack Pro !!!
