Lock Axim?

Along time Palm user, I used this nifty program, Gridlock. When the Palm started up from soft reset, (hard reset erased everything)the first thing that came up was a grid, you had to click the right squares in the right order for the machine to go further. It would be effective if your Palm was lost or stolen, no one could access your data (except what you had on an external card).

Is there anything with this functionality for the Axim? I realize I'd have to encrypt whatever was on my SD card since it could just be stuck in a card reader, but if the only way to access the Axim was the get the right password or hard reset...

Yep, built into the OS.

Start, Settings, Password.
Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

There are also other programs you can buy.
I've seen one that makes you click a certain area on a picture which sounds somewhat like the grid thing you mention.

If you don't like what comes with the device, do a search at a place like handango.com, pocketgear.com, or freewareppc.com.

I also saw one program that comes with a Today screen. Was cute!
If memory serves me, I think the screen was a VW Jetta, red.
The password was something like click on left headlamp, then the
right front tire, whatever. Think I might go look for the program. Why not have it?

That's the one I was talking about.
Just did a search at handango.com and found it.
