Question iLauncher: left softkey changes into "notifications" when enabling a titlemeter

Hi, when i enable one of the meter icons in the Today title bar in the ilauncher options menu, the left softkey, which normally shows "Calendar" changes into "Notifications". When i click this softkey nothing happens. Seems like a dead, non functioning key.

When i uncheck the option for the title meter again, the etxt "calendar" shows again as title in the left soft key, which starts the PIM when clicked as it should.

Of course this is in WM5 (AximX51V).

Is this a bug or normal behaviour? For the rest i love ilauncher.

Thanks,
Jan

It's normal behaviour. iLauncher uses a Notification icon in order to display the meter. Unfortunately, it removes the function of the left softkey on the Today screen in WM5.

Hmm, ashame. I like the meter, however the consequence of a huge dead notification button at the left button is a too big compromise to use the meter, so i disabled that setting for now. Anyway it's reported that battery monitors are a bad idea at this moment in the first place although i did not experience any problems so far. Hope it can be changed

I thought it would be too big of a compromise as well. But after using it for a few days I found having the percentage meter in my top bar all the time was more valuable than a soft key that only appears on the Today Screen. Plus, if you have a replacement PIM manager like Pocket Informant or PocketBreeze, you can launch your calendar from the Today screen through those programs and you don't need the soft key. I'm hoping a future version of iLauncher will make it possible to regain use of that soft-key.
