Resco Explorer 2005 Problems?
Resco Explorer 2005 works great for what it does, but there were two problems I came across.
When I log into my shared folders on the network, it keeps asking for a username and password even when I didn't set one. It gets quite annoying because every time I load the program up, it asks for the password again and again, and the remember password option won't work because there is no password to save. The other problem I have is when I'm downloading files either from the network or from the FTP. I use another program such as solitaire or PocketIRC...it doesn't really seem to matter which other program I use, but Resco seems to make my ppc hang if I use two programs at once if I'm downloading a file. Are these problems I need to live with or are there workarounds or was there a recent fix for these minor annoyances? | |||||

File explorer 5.30 and WM5 appear to not get along. Its installation brought on all sorts of problems such as sluggish performance, high battery drain, lots of soft resets. Removing it restore my 50v with WM5 back to working.

I installed through activesync and I'm using the build before the 5.30 release...I forget the build number. Also, I'm still on WM2003SE. I know the password saving problem was consistent through all builds I've used, but I'm not sure about the hanging while downloading problem.

should I try to download a different version? I think I have the latest one installed in the built in memory. Everytime I try to download files from my network my x50v locks up and I have to soft rest to get any functionality.
