HELP! Files needed!

Hi there!

I've had a problem with my Axim (cf. "Hardware trouble" section), and i could maybe get the solution from reinstalling ActiveSync on the PDA and trying to run it manually.

Could any body e-mail me the executable for ActiveSync on the PDA?

it's sort of my last chance... thanx in advance!

well, I am not too sure if your proposed course of action will work.

For what it is worth, the exe file for English ActiveSync on the Ax is called "repllog.exe". This file is on the ROM under the Windows folder. The shortcut on my Start menu has the following command line "repllog.exe /remote".

Hope this helps. For all I know, ActiveSync will probably need more than just the exe file (e.g. some other dll files etc) to run.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

Arghhh!!! I need to learn the difference between the quote button and the edit button. There is no way to delete Active Sync off of the PDA. It is built into the ROM, so there is also no way to reinstall it. The best I can say is to do a hard reset.
