Grayscale or B/W on x50?

I'm trying to discover a way to display grayscale or only black and white on my Axim x50. Anyone know of software or a tweak that will do this. I want it for bright sunlight read ability and just for fun.?

I think turning the backlight off altogether is pretty readable in direct sunlight. To answer your greyscale question, I've not seen anything to do that.

Using SPB Time with a black and white clockscreen saver. It's seems to be much more readable in direct sunlight. Using the contrast (hack) applet, I think it might be even better.

you could build yourself a black and white theme... and set your system (and application where applicable) colours using something like tweaks 2k..

true, I'll give that a try. I thought for sure somebody would have dreamed up some code for this though. Anyone?
