Display color adjustment

Is there any software that allows you to adjust your display colors? The Axe display seems to lack red spectrum, it looks more like brown. I'm a television engineer so I get anal about how displays look. It would be cool if they used SMPTE color bars and gave you a registry tweaks to adjust color that would apply to all apps.

Resco Picture Viewer lets you correct the colors for all the pictures that you view with that program. To get pictures to look right on my Today Screen, I maladjust them on my PC before I add them to the theme that I'm creating.
I think it would be great if someone came up with a way to correct the screen colors for all programs.
