X51v Self Diagnostic Utility

Hey ppl,

First of all, Merry Christmas everyone !

Second I would like to announce that I am now a proud owner of the Dell Axim X51v.

Second I'm pissed off because I DID NOT receive the "Getting Started CD" that comes with it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few questions, first, is there anything important in the CD ?
Second I was reading in the manual about a Self Diagnostic utility that comes with it. I've searched the Dell website and can't find it. Is it available for download anywhere ? Is it important ?

Thanks.

I like it because it includes ToyGolf by Fathammer, which is a very fun game! Other than that, though, there isn't that much on there...
Palm m130->Pa1m0ne Tungsten | E->Dell Axim x30 High...But now, a glorious Dell Axim x51v + 1GB Sd Card and a 2GB 80x CF Card!!!

VIEW MY PDA!!!

My X50/1V Site, for nothing but the x50/1v PDAs!

I also did not receive the CD (ordered 12/20--arrived 12/22)--customer service is sending one now. Maybe the CD person was on early vacation All I needed so far is is Activesync, so I just downloaded it instead. Good luck with yours.

Something similar happened to me... I recieved the Spanish language disk for the X50, which is compeletely useless... I had to go thru 2 tries to get the right one.

Another useful program is the Resco Photo Viewer.

The X51v Self Diagnostic app is very basic, in the "Press all the buttons ... good!" style. There is a button test, video test, and a couple of others. Not very useful, but I guess it could be a good way to check whether a problem is with an app or your hardware. I wouldn't worry about it, though.

Installed, tested, removed, no use to have it, that are my two cents
