I am new to the PDA scene and looking at the software for the today screen. Pocketbreeze and SBH diary are mentioned alot. Any feelings as to which is better for a newbie? Thanks

Hi and welcome to Aximsite!
It all has alot to do with preference. Both programs you mentioned have trial versions, check them both out and decide for yourself .

I personally don't use any today plugins. I feel they slow down the pda too much. However, when I did use Pocketbreeze it seemed like a really easy, usefull program. Skinning was easy too.

There are so many choices that I suggest that you read thru some of the "today screen" threads and see what kinds of looks you like before starting any time-limited trial periods. That way you can maximize your use of the trial. There is no substitute for hands-on tho! The View MyPDA links (of those who have built them) also have some good info.

Welcome, lisaau!

What types of things are you looking to put on your Today screen? I have PocketWeather, PocketBreeze and iLauncher (though iLauncher is set up to run as a tab of PocketBreeze so I don't have it on the screen all the time).
