Now if we only knew what it was, perhaps we may be interested in trying it out.

"Hitchhiker" helps you to connect your Pocket PC to the wireless Internet. Simply click "Connect" and it will try all nearby public access points. Hitchhiker will handle all settings for you and perform complicated tests to ensure you can connect to the Internet in no time.
So...just another wifi connection tool.

I'd be curious how it differentiates "public" APs from private APs broadcasting all over the neighborhood. I'm also curious if some of it's "complicated tests" involves brute force password attempts

This program rocks! Make sure you run the update from Microsoft. The Dell wireless utility sucks compaired to this one. Not to mention its free!! I use it all day! Its quick, fast and just plain works. Very happy!

Never have been able to get this version or the previous one to work. It tries (for a long time) to connect to my home network and then fails and continues to scan. I have 2 WAPs. It does the same to both.
Nothing is never "no problem".

"Make sure you run the update from Microsoft"

What update? HitchHiker keeps crashing on me trying to connect to BTOpenZone.
ROM Updates! Don't talk to me about ROM Updates.
