Removing software?

How do i remove software that came with my x5? For example: I added a new (and cooler) calculator and photo viewer, so i was going to get rid of the old ones that came bundled with the PPC. Don't think i need 2 of each program, but i can't figure out how to get rid of the old ones. help. sorry, a neewbie here

If the program is "deinstallable" by standard means it will show up in START\SETTINGS\SYSTEM\REMOVE PROGRAMS.

you cannot remove the bundled software like that. only way you can do it is by manually deleting the exe files and the shortcuts.. but I wouldn't recommend it.

Actually, deleting the shortcuts (or just moving them out of the Start Menu or Start Menu/Programs folders) won't hurt anything and will clean up the programs page. There's really no point in 'deleting' the exe files since they are in ROM and even if deleting them appears successful, you really haven't freed any memory.
