is there any free programs that lets my axim 50v simulate a graphing calculator? it help me a lot in school. thanks

Hey The search could have helped u on this one, but i did it for you check out this thread

Do these work for roms? This Link here Oh wait it says you need to own a ti and a usb. Its illegal to get roms otherwise.

Interesting. Thanks for the post. I never knew this stuff was available as freeware. This will definitely work for me and I won't have to carry my TI-89 anymore!

Yah, Ill just buy someone's busted screen type @ school, then copy over the rom.....Save me $118....

i use VTI as well, but it is a bit slow and not as easy to use as my TI-89 T, so i carry both around.

how do i do a rom dump of my ti89? i downloaded the rom dumper but it doesn't have usb as an option to connect to the calc..

I tried VTI and downloaded a ROM from TI's website. The program wouldn't see it, so gave up.
After a while, I just gave in and bought a TI-84+ Silver edition, for $129. The TI-84+ is $110, figured for the extra $19 it was worth having more memory and more applications. | |||||

Another option is to use the HP48/HP49 emulators and I believe that since HP no longer makes these it has given free use of its ROMS. Check out hpcalc.org
