Magic Button Bug?
I don't know if it is a bug or not for Magic Button and if any of you have had this problem. Here is what happened:
I have serveral apps opened and I wanted to close them all. So, I clicked the "X" to close them one by one. I was doing it really fast. When I closed the last app, I saw another "X". So, I clicked on it. Once I did that, I could't get back to the Today screen anymore or the screen won't refresh. It is like the machine is kinda locked up. I had to do a soft reset. It happened to me a few times and it is kinda annoying. Am I doing something wrong or it is a bug with Magic Button? Thanks

Im having the same issue on my X51v also.
If I go into the Programs screen, and start an application and close them one by one, I get stuck on the Programs screen. And the only solution I have found so far is the darn soft reset.

Yeah, I got rid of Magic Button after I initially liked it ... it would lock up my x51v or it would not close down. Also did some funny stuff with the screen. The top left hand corner would look like it disappeared.

True. The reason I haven't tried is because I love to be able to see what apps are running under Magic Button. I hope there will be a new version down the road that fixes this problem.

Does majic button ever freeze for you when you go into the wifi connections... like i'll click on the wifi icon then on the networks icon (the one that shows avail. networks) and it locks up magic button, then i have to go into memory and close one of the settings from there and it works fine again... but only happens if i have magic button set to display the running apps...

Magic button does go weird if you go into the WLAN Utility -> Settings, I've found that if you take MB out of it's "Task View" mode before going into WLAN settings there is no problem. Is most odd.

I went from Wisbar to MagicButton to SKMenu. SKMenu is my choice. Fast and not buggy. Also highly customizable. Eliminated my need for iLauncher as I now use the system tray for quicklaunch menus. It does cost $8 but for what it does for me it is cheap.

SKMenu looks good, but I'm curious as to how much memory it takes up when running. Any idea how much it uses? Not able to test it on my pda at the moment....

Same issue (sort of) on the x50v running 2003se. I get stuck at the programs screen, but I can still click the start button, then select Today and it will put me back on the today screen. A bit annoying, but simple enough to work around.
