What's Better? Pocket Plus 3.0 or Pocket Breeze 5.0?

I'm looking for THE program that enhances the heck out of my x51v. Which one is the BEST?

Comparing PocketBreeze to PocketPlus is like comparing apples to oranges. If you want your calendar, contacts, etc. at a glance, with the option of adding custom tabs (i.e. Pocket Weather, etc.), then Pocket Breeze is well worth the price of admission, and there is even a thread here where you can request a code/link for 50% off the purchase price, making it an even better value.

Pocket Plus's main deal is a tabbed launcher, much like iLauncher (which is made by the makers of Pocket Breeze). Additionally, Pocket Plus gives you the ability to have multiple browser windows in PIE, a task manager/close button that is customizable, safe mode, alarm tweaks, and much more. I use it mainly for the task manager and tweaks, and use iLauncher for my tabbed launcher because it allows me to put icons for my most frequently used apps in the System tray at the bottom of the screen.

So, I would say if you find value in both, get both, but take a look at iLauncher first/as well before purchasing PocketPlus. All of them are shareware so you can try fully functional trials before buying. I highly recommend you try them out.

Yeah, they're both completely different and used for completely different reasons. I would highly recommend both. I have both. Great programs.

I'd probably suggest picking up Wisbar over PocketPlus, unless you need the launcher functionality... in which case, iLauncher takes up about 300K versus the 1400-1600K of RAM that PocketPlus does... and Magic Button can add the 'close button' functionality for free.

Pocket Plus and Pocket Breeze do two completely different things. The first is a launcher with enhancements for the OS/system, while the second gives you an alternative way to customize your Today screen with schedule/tasks/etc.

This wekend I bought PSB Dairy (today plugin), SPC Pocket plus, SPB time and SPB weather, all for less than 50$ with all the rebate coupon.

I installed then in no time and NO issue so far. I am amazed at the level of integration these package are.

I could have gone with the Pocket breeeze packages but had to decide in one Avenue.

So far so good. Maybe the other guys are cheaper but overall I think I went for an overall integrated package. You can probably go for cheaper solution but at the end you might save few $$. I have not tested the Pocket breeeze packages.

It is a tought call.

Good luck

Could you load all three or would they have conflicting interests?

You can load all 3 spb products no problem. In fact, you can load all 3 of those and some other stuff on top of those and still have no problem.

Because that's why this board is here?

Well if you are asking about the Spb products, YES you can install then all.

This morning I wanted to save some Today realestate but wanted to the keep the SPB weather. Well I just integrated it with Spb Poclet + and voilą, I now have a new little icon tab and got more room for my agenda display.

I am just amazed at how easy was the installation of these packages and how well they work together.

They also have information on how to custom your own plug-in, weather templates, etc.

So far so good.
